The ex-pp girls! After twice failed attempt self timing,we finally succeeded!This was outside my classroom!

Back to IJ again,as usual,it was awesome.We met one hour earlier to play badminton and it was fun!Though it was a short session,playing badminton again made me realise that i really must to play it more often.I still enjoy and love badminton a lot,it gives me real joy,don't ask me why.Even after learning tennis,i still prefer badminton which according to my brother,won't be true cause to him,tennis is way funner.Anyways,after the session of badminton,we went to AVA room for the project.Today's session made my again realize it gets challenging to hype up the girls and encourage them to have passion about the project but I have learnt that in future,as a mentor,i can't bring my own tiredness to the students cause they will be affected as well.I hope to be a mentor in future,giving back what IJ has taught me to the school,to the girls.I hope i can motivate them somehow and let them know,it is possible to do well,seriously!I also hope they will be keen in the passion project.Cause at the end of the day,they will realized that it helped,at least for me it really really did.I was once like them,not knowing what are these mentors for,why are they doing this things that is a waste of time?Iin the end i realized,they are actually talking their time off their work,family,and sleep to meet us on every Saturday morning.We took them for granted,complaining that we are tired,but have we taught 'aren't they tired?'.Ii guess these thoughts only comes in when you leave IJ,cause for me, it did too.I will make sure i will be a better senior the next session and make them enjoy this great and meaningful project,to me,it is:)

Anyways,we,some mentors and ex-pp girls went for lunch!Which we took like 4 hours to decide.We ended up in Toa Payoh,how exciting right!Excitng car roller coaster was dashed by a slow car in front of us.Damn!My juniors were so eager to experience the so called thrilling car ride,according to me:)Anyways,the next time we should!I was debating whether to go home or not after lunch,but in the end,i went on a car ride/food/walk walk with vera,which was fun too!I shall stop here,this is a realy long post.

IJ Day:):):)

Went to IJ early in the morning today at 8am to help out in Passion Project.It was good to see ex pp girls helping out and the are rather fun people.Saw them in school before but never really got a chance to talk to them,today i did.I was a roving mentor together with Celine,yes,another Celine and i had fun driving around Singapore.We had to deliver things to the girls of different stations,in case i haven't mentioned,it was a amazing race.We were caught in the super heavy rain and as a result,we were soaked from almost head to toe,despite an umbrella.I guess this is as Celine said,'just one indication how much IJ girls love their schools'.I dedicated my entire Saturday in IJ and i had great fun:)Firstly it felt super good to step in IJ, secondly a good get away.I hope the girls learnt as much as i did in the Passion Project,and continue coming back as an Alumni to help.Anyways,had dinner with ex pp girls and though it was the first time eating with them,and they are 2 years younger than me,i had fun.Laughed hard as how they gossiped about teachers,shared our experiences and talked nonsense.Haven't had times like this in a long time.It was a great day:)

I want to do something crazy now!Don't ask me why cause i have no idea.Common test starts next week and i am quite scared for it.The first paper i am sitting or in Ngee Ann.On the brighter side, it only lasts for 5 days,10 June will be my happy day and 15 june,off i fly to Vietnam.I am super excited for the trip,it should be funnnn.
Till then...

Went back to IJ on friday and colecting our graduating certificates really gave me a reality check and wake up call that i am really really no longer a student in IJ.Now,i feel that i can just sit in IJ the entire day and not feel bored.The other time when i was back at IJ,Mrs Jeya asked me,'how do you feel when you see these girls in uniform now?'My answer came to my mind immediately,'envy.'Going back to IJ now is a treat to me,i will never be a student again but i guess it is time to give back.Give back to a school that taught me so much:)
Hung out with the fourteen after school and as usual,i had fun.Tthe girls never fail to make me laugh and feel comfortable.I guess this feeling can never be felt with friends from anywhere else.


Anyways,i caught When in Rome yesterday and it was funny!Josh Duhamel is soo good looking.Caught the nine plus show and ended at eleven plus.I almost couldn't make it for the last train.I took the second last train home.

Today is going to be a good day!Going to a wedding dinner at night and i am soo looking forward to it.I love attending wedding dinners,i have no idea why.

January is ending for 2010.It is scary to know how fast time passes.I guess i am never satisfied with the speed of time(though it is technically always the same).Now,time flies,time doesn't seemed to be enough for me.

Party time!

We have indeed really graduated from IJ.The last event i attend in IJ is now over.The prom night,a day that everybody is excited about is over with a blink of an eye.Few moments ago,we were atill frantically doing our make-up and trying on our dresses.Few moments later,we are back in the hotel and changed into our pyjamas and ready for sleep.Good things never fail to pass fast.During prom,they showed us a video of our cohort and it jolted the memories of many events i've taken part in but cant seem to remember and his scares me because i want to have crystal clear memories of me in IJ.The five year journey has really ended and all of us will now embark on our new journey without seeing each other everyday in school and do crazy things together.I can;t imagine school days without you guys.Especially the two-sixers,14 of you.I dont think you guys read my blog but i want you all to know that you all really played a very important part of my beautiful memories of IJ.It is the crazy things you all did that made yeach and everyone of you special.I love you all!

Graduation ceremony:):)

Graduation ceremony is over and i feel soooo acomplished that i managed to pull off the first speech in my life:)
IJ really made me grow from day 1 till now and IJ friends are definitely gonna be friends for life with the IJ spirit burning bright.We are the first batch that got to have graduation ceremony in IJ and this is certainly something to be proud of.Yesterday,i really realised that we are all indeed graduating in less then less then 2 months and this 5 year journey we had together is indeed gonna end.All of us shared tears,joy,laughter and we know every ungraceful habit of each other sooo well.It was probably the last time we sing with arms over each other and gather in the hall for a major event together.The last time we are gonnna take sooo much pictures in our school uniform.Nevertheless,looking on the bright side,we will leave IJ still with the IJ spirit with all of us and we will all be special:)
